This Multi Fittings Corporation 063640 PVC sewer coupling is constructed from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and designed for joining 4-inch nominal diameter PVC sewer pipe in non-pressure drainage and stormwater applications. It features an SDR35 (Standard Dimension Ratio 35) rating, indicating its suitability for gravity flow systems. Both ends provide gasketed connections (Gasket x Gasket), ensuring a watertight and flexible seal when installed with compatible pipe using flexible elastomeric seals. This coupling, part of the Trench Tough Plus series, includes an internal stop to ensure correct pipe alignment and insertion depth. It meets ASTM D3034 specifications for PVC sewer pipe and fittings and ASTM D3212 for joint tightness.
