Product Overview
The NABCO PAPT040303 is a plastic PEX reducing tee fitting designed to create a three-way connection in PEX piping systems, branching a 3/4-inch main line into two 1/2-inch lines. Made from a durable poly alloy, these fittings are commonly polyphenylsulfone, offering corrosion resistance, especially in areas with high chlorine levels, and serving as a lightweight and cost-effective alternative to metallic fittings. It is engineered for use with PEX tubing in potable hot and cold water distribution systems, as well as hydronic heating applications. The fitting is designed for secure connections using copper crimp rings (ASTM F1807) or stainless steel clamp rings (ASTM F2098) and is compatible with PEX-A, PEX-B, and PEX-C tubing. It meets industry standards such as ASTM F2159 for plastic insert fittings, ASTM F876 and F877 for PEX tubing, and is certified by NSF to NSF 14 and NSF/ANSI 61 for use in drinking water systems. These fittings typically withstand working pressures of up to 100 PSI at 180°F and 160 PS at 73°F
