The NABCO PAPT040304 PEX Reducing Tee is a plastic polymer fitting designed for creating a three-way connection in PEX plumbing systems, allowing for a branch line off a main run. It features a 3/4" nominal PEX crimp inlet, a 1/2" nominal PEX crimp branch outlet, and a 3/4" nominal PEX crimp run outlet. This fitting is specifically engineered for crimp connections, which utilize a crimping tool and copper crimp rings or stainless steel cinch clamps to create a secure, watertight seal. Certified by NSF International, it is suitable for potable water applications and is resistant to damage from chemicals and corrosive water conditions, making it an ideal choice where copper piping may be restricted. The fitting is compatible with all types of PEX tubing (PEX-A, PEX-B, and PEX-C) and generally complies with ASTM F2159 standards for plastic PEX crimp fittings.
