Product Overview
This NABCO PZ1040LF adapter is constructed from lead-free brass, suitable for potable water systems. It functions as a transition fitting, connecting 1/2 inch PEX tubing to a 1/2 inch Female National Pipe Taper (FPT) threaded connection. The female NPT end of the adapter is also designed for a sweat (soldered) connection, allowing it to be permanently joined to a copper pipe or fitting. This versatile adapter is utilized in hot and cold domestic water supply lines and hydronic radiant heating systems. It complies with NSF/ANSI 61, NSF/ANSI 372, and ASTM F1807/F877 standards for plumbing applications.
