Product Overview
This 2-1/2 inch threaded PVC Schedule 80 union, model U-2500-T by National Diversified Sales Inc. (NDS), is designed for connecting two pipes while allowing for easy disassembly and reassembly in a piping system. Constructed from rugged, hi-impact gray PVC Type II, it features FPT x FPT (Female Pipe Thread) ends that comply with ANSI B1.20.1 standards, ensuring a secure, threaded connection. An integrated EPDM o-ring provides a positive, leak-resistant seal. The fitting is rated for a maximum pressure of 150 PSI at 73°F and meets ASTM D2467 specifications for Schedule 80 PVC fittings, which designates a thicker wall for higher pressure applications. It is NSF-listed and IAPMO approved, suitable for potable water applications, and can be used in water supply, irrigation, chemical processing, and industrial fluid transport systems. Schedule 80 PVC fittings are not recommended for use with compressed air or gases
