Product Overview
PowerPod Un-Cut (Usable Face = 8.75"W x 6"H) NavPods are better than bracket mounting. Sturdy and secure, yet clean and attractive, PowerPods provide the clean look of in-dash mounting with the added adjustability of a swivel base. NavPods are made to protect your marine electronics from the harshest boating conditions. They are thermoformed from acrylic-capped ABS plastic to provide excellent structural rigidity and UV stability. All NavPods are manufactured with a double gasket system that provides an excellent watertight seal. PowerPods protect cables and connections from water intrusion and UV exposure, and prevent snagged cables to assure the reliability and longevity of your marine electronics. The display is positioned at a fixed 20-degree viewing angle. The housing can be rotated left/right to view from a different position. The base has a 1.1" diameter opening to provide plenty of room for running wires and connectors through the base to conceal them from the elements. All NavPods come with a security wrench and Nickel Chrome-Plated Stainless Steel tamper-resistant screws for enhanced security and an attractive finish. Check to make sure your electronics will fit into the usable face area listed for this un-cut NavPod, as well the interior space of the housing (contact NavPod to confirm if you are unsure). A rotary tool (like a RotoZip or Dremel) is recommended for cutting the NavPod face to mount your display(s).
