This National Door Controls NDC101-LH1.5 is a left-hand offset door closer retrofit kit, part of the NDC 101 series. It is designed to convert existing concealed floor or overhead door closers into a free-swinging system without needing to remove the original closer. The kit includes a door closer arm and a bottom pivot, featuring a 1.5-inch (38 mm) offset that facilitates free door movement without resistance from the closer. This retrofit solution can be used to neutralize offset pivoted floor checks and can assist in achieving ADA compliance for doors in commercial and institutional applications.
