Noritz's SCALESHIELD Water Conditioning System provides superior limescale prevention and corrosion control within the water heater and plumbing system. It contains a water conditioning cartridge that creates scale-inhibiting solution for use with tankless water heaters. The SS-HB-2 water treatment is compatible with Noritz NC380 and NCC300 commercial units. In many cases, the SCALESHIELD offer many of the same advantages as conventional water softening systems, except at a lower cost with little professional maintenance.
