This Northern Safety Co., Inc. 24165 XL protective coverall is constructed from DuPont™ Tyvek® 400 flash-spun high-density polyethylene, a unique nonwoven material designed for an optimal balance of protection, durability, and comfort. It features an integrated hood, elastic wrists, and attached skid-resistant boots, designed for full-body protection. The coverall also includes an elastic waist sewn into the back for a more tailored fit and an extended, reinforced zipper for easier donning and doffing. The Tyvek® 400 material provides an inherent barrier against fine dry particles down to 1 micron, hazardous aerosols, and non-hazardous light liquid splashes. It is lightweight, breathable, and treated with an antistatic agent to minimize static build-up, meeting EN 1149-5 standards. The garment complies with ANSI/ISEA 101 sizing standards.
