Product Overview
The NSi Industries Polaris ISR-250B is an insulated in-line splice connector designed for joining two electrical wires. It features an aluminum alloy body encapsulated in high-dielectric strength plastisol insulation, dual-rated for use with both copper and aluminum conductors. This connector accommodates wire sizes ranging from 250 kcmil (MCM) down to 6 AWG. It is rated for 600 Volts and operates in temperatures from -45°C to 90°C. Each port is pre-filled with an oxide inhibitor to prevent corrosion and includes removable access plugs over the hex screws for secure installation. The UV-rated, abrasion, and chemical-resistant insulation eliminates the need for additional taping. Measuring approximately 4" L x 1.19" W x 1.9" H, it is UL Listed (UL 486A/B) and cULus compliant for both dry and wet locations. This connector is not recommended for fine-stranded or flexible wire applications.
