The Oetiker Inc. 16700024 Stepless Ear Clamp is a 167 Series hose clamp designed to provide a secure, leak-free seal for various hose and tubing applications. Constructed from 304 stainless steel (Material no. 1.4301/UNS S30400), it offers excellent corrosion resistance for use in demanding environments. This clamp features a stepless design that eliminates gaps and overlaps on its inner circumference, ensuring uniform 360° compression and preventing leaks. The clamp accommodates a diameter range of 17.8 to 21.0 mm (0.70 to 0.82 inches) and typically has a 7mm band width. A signature dimple in the ear section increases clamping force and provides a visual indication of proper installation. Its narrow band and smooth, burr-free edges help protect the clamped hose from damage. These clamps are commonly utilized in automotive, industrial, marine, and plumbing systems for fluid transfer and connection integrity. Installation requires an Oetiker ear clamping tool.
