Product Overview
The Oil Creek Plastics GAS10510 is a 1/2 inch by 100 foot coil of medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) gas pipe, manufactured from PE 2708 resin. This yellow pipe is designed for the underground distribution of natural gas and LP gas, and service lines to residential and commercial properties. It features a Standard Dimension Ratio (SDR) of 9.3 and is rated for a maximum working pressure of 80 psi at 140°F. The pipe is flexible, lightweight, and resistant to rust, rot, electrolysis, and various chemicals. It can be joined using heat fusion or mechanical fittings. The product meets or exceeds ASTM D2513 and NSF/ANSI 14 standards. It is intended for outdoor, underground use only and must not be installed inside buildings, under slabs, or above grade
