The Oil Creek Plastics GAS10730 is a 3/4 inch nominal diameter, 300 foot length of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) gas pipe, specifically crafted from PE2708 medium-density polyethylene. This SDR11 (Standard Dimension Ratio 11) pipe features a thicker wall suitable for higher-pressure gas transmission systems and adheres to Iron Pipe Size (IPS) dimensions, allowing compatibility with traditional iron pipe systems. Primarily yellow in color to indicate gas use, this pipe is designed for underground natural gas and LPG distribution. It is resistant to corrosion, chemicals, and environmental stress cracking, offering lightweight flexibility and durability. The pipe conforms to ASTM D2513 and ANSI B31.8 standards for polyethylene gas pipe and is NSF listed, ensuring its quality and safety for gas service. It can be joined using heat fusion or mechanical fittings.
