This Oil Creek Plastics GAS11050 pipe is a 1-inch Iron Pipe Size (IPS) Standard Dimension Ratio (SDR) 11 polyethylene gas pipe, supplied in a 500-foot coil. Manufactured from medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) with a PE-2708 material designation, it is specifically designed for underground natural gas and LPG distribution systems. The pipe features a nominal outside diameter of 1.315 inches and a minimum wall thickness of 0.120 inches, with the yellow color indicating gas service. It is lightweight, non-corrosive, flexible, and offers superior environmental stress crack resistance and weatherability. The pipe is manufactured and tested to meet or exceed national standards including ASTM D2513 and ASTM D3350, and complies with 49 CFR Part 192 for federal gas pipeline regulations.
