The Optex TD-20U (or RTD-20U) is a battery-powered passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor transmitter designed for the Wireless 2000 annunciator system. This indoor/outdoor unit detects motion and transmits radio frequency signals up to 2000 feet line-of-sight to compatible Optex RC-20U or RC-10U series receivers. Its weather-resistant housing carries an IP54 rating, allowing reliable operation in various environments. The detection pattern is selectable, offering a 50-foot long-range beam or a 17-foot fan pattern. Powered by a 9V alkaline or lithium battery (not included) with an estimated two-year battery life, the transmitter operates at 418MHz and functions within a temperature range of 15°F to 120°F (-20°C to +50°C). It can be installed on walls, ceilings, or desktops. Up to nine TD-20U transmitters can be integrated with a single RC-20U receiver, and it is compatible with the TR-20U repeater for extended ra
