Flying A is well suited to companion planting with small grains and legumes such as clover, vetch, and peas. Managed properly, annual ryegrass will encourage higher forage intake, resulting in higher gains and more profit in the bank. SEEDING RATES - 25-40 lbs. per acre, depending on seedbed preparation and seeding methods. Do not drill or cover seed more than 1/2" deep. TIMING - Late September through late November, depending on weather...but may be sown all winter long in areas with average temperatures ranging from 40 to 60 degrees.
