Product Overview
The OTC 5605-DG Digital Compression Tester Kit is designed for diagnosing the mechanical condition of gasoline engine cylinders across domestic, import, motorcycle, marine, snowmobile, ATV, and small engine applications. It features a 2.5-inch backlit LCD digital gauge capable of displaying pressure readings in PSI, kPa, bar, and kg/c, with a measurement range of 3-300 PSI. The kit allows for measuring, recording, and playing back compression readings for up to 12 cylinders, facilitating quick testing and diagnosis. A push-button side release valve enables repeat testing. It includes a 26-inch flex hose gauge assembly with a quick coupler and a variety of standard and specialty adapters, such as deep well and Ford Triton (16mm thread) types, compatible with both flat and tapered seat spark plugs. Metal components feature a corrosion-resistant nickel-plated finish. The gauge is powered by a 9V battery (not included) and the kit is stored in a blow-molded case.
