Product Overview
The OTC 7045B Front Coil Spring Compressor is an automotive service tool designed for safely compressing and decompressing coil springs on most late-model rear-wheel-drive domestic vehicles where the coil springs are located between the upper and lower control arms. This tool features a heavy-duty threaded rod and includes four case-hardened, self-aligning plates to ensure correct load distribution under tension. It comes with two 3-3/8 inch inner diameter (ID) plates and two 4 inch ID plates to accommodate various spring sizes. Manufactured by OTC, model 7045B, this compressor is not suitable for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
