Pentair 228066 Dark Blue Vinyl Style 2 G2 Complete is made to be installed outside of the PVR riser pipe. The lip on the Collar Body with the flange and the Vinyl Top Plate meet to pinch and seal the vinyl coating. With this tight seal it prevents any debris from entering while keeping the water in.
