CRL PhotoVoltaic Solar (PV) Series Horizontal Glass Washers have the latest design features for cleaning all coated glass. As standard these glass washing machines will clean and dry glass panels at process speeds up to 35 feet per minute (10.6 mpm). Designed with corrosion resistance and suitable for cleaning with deionized water. The horizontal PV glass washers feature a tilt-top design to allow simple access to the inside of the machine for any maintenance. This washer can also be supplied with an optional powered 4 corner lift-top system. Our PV Solar series Glass Washers can be configured for stand-alone or in-line operation. Widths to 120" wide are also available.
The corrosion resistance of horizontal machines has been enhanced by adding stainless steel to the spray compartment walls and to the brush and roller journals. We also use non-corrosive recirculating pumps, and have located all bearings outside the wet area.
Capacity Accepts 0.040 to 1/4" (1 to 6 mm) glass. The PVSS246 Glass Washing machines speed is variable up to 35 FPM.
Zero Water Pre-Rinse Jetted spray bars remove (packing powder) from the glass. This rinse minimizes contamination to the detergent system. Water cascades forward, fed by the recirculating miser rinse system.
Brushes 25" (635 mm) long, with spiral wound dense filled bristles on Stainless steel journals. Brush height is adjustable.
Drying System Air blast drying system uses pressure blower. It pressurizes plant air and forces it through top and bottom blast tubes to dry both surfaces of the glass. The baffled enclosure covering the blast tubes reduces noise.
Rollers Solid (precision ground, non-marking) Nitril covered feed and pinch rollers with stainless steel journals are used in the main washing section. Exterior conveyor rollers have non-marking Nitril rings mounted to stainless steel journals.
Bearings Heavy duty, bearing units mounted in housings to insure long life.
Frame Stainless steel welding, consisting of an entry conveyor section, main washing section, and an exit conveyor section. Tilt-top design for easy maintenance.
Electrical Control panel, is built to NEMA 12 specifications to meet OSHA requirements. Every panel is UL approved. Power requirements are 3 phase, 60 cycle, 208/230/460 volt. International voltages are available on special order.
Water One spray pipe per brush applies the detergent solution or rinse water. Threaded pipe plug ends allow easy cleaning.
Options Hydraulic power tilt top, 4 corner lift system, induction static eliminator, Conductivity monitoring, and additional sound control. Elevated Blower Stand. Aqua-Miser® closed-loop water maintenance system.
