POLAFLEX HUB (F28) PolaStorm interchangeable Hub Kit is a high-quality propeller bush made of rubber (rather than plastic) that aids in easier gear changing, vibration reduction, and impact deflection. They feature brass bronze splines, not aluminum like some inferior ones. Polaflex can be attached to the appropriate propeller unit. Designed to fit all Polastorm propellers, as well as Solas, Michigan Wheel, Turning Point, and Mercury propeller blade units. Always lubricate the propeller shaft before installation. A propeller's hub is located within the barrel, which is the cylinder that holds the prop blades. The hub connects the propeller to the shaft of an outboard or sterndrive engine. A splined metal insert in the hub's center aligns with the splines on the propeller shaft.
