The Pool Patrol PA-30 is a floating pool alarm system manufactured by Posthaste Electronics LLC, designed to enhance pool safety by detecting unauthorized or accidental entry into the water. This device utilizes wave-detection technology, floating on the pool's surface and activating when an object weighing 15 lbs. or more creates a disturbance. The alarm emits a clear warning signal at the pool unit and transmits to an electronic solid-state remote receiver, which can be located up to 200 feet away indoors. The pool alarm operates on a 9-volt alkaline battery (not included) and features a low battery indicator, while the remote receiver is powered by a 120-volt AC transformer. It produces an audible alarm of 85+ dB at 10 feet and is suitable for various pool types, including in-ground, above-ground, commercial pools, and spas, covering areas up to 20' x 40'. The unit includes an adjustable sensing ring for sensitivity control and can integrate with home security systems via receiver inputs. The PA-30 is corrosion-resistant and meets ASTM Safety Specification F2208 for residential pool alarms.
