Product Overview
The Powerfields EW615-660 polywire is designed for temporary electric fencing applications, such as rotational grazing, quick pasture management, and securing small farms or gardens. It features 6 electrical conductors composed of 6-mil stainless steel wire, integrated into 15 strands of 15-mil UV-stabilized polyethylene monofilament. This construction offers good visibility, especially in white, and resists rust and UV degradation, making it suitable for repeated use. The polywire comes in a 660-foot roll and is lightweight, allowing for easy installation, repair, and splicing. It is generally recommended for slow-moving animals like cattle or sheep, typically having a breaking load of approximately 180 pounds, and is not intended for permanent fencing or high-tension setups.
