Product Overview
The Powerfields PF-150-S12 is a low impedance solar fence energizer designed to power electric fences for animal containment and property protection. It operates with an internal, rechargeable 7-amp hour, 12-volt battery, which is continuously charged by an integrated 2.5-watt monocrystalline solar panel. This unit delivers 0.15 Joules of output energy (0.18 stored Joules) and can energize up to 10 acres of multi-strand wire. It provides 10,000 volts (open line) and 2,800 volts at 500 ohms. The energizer features a tough, weather-resistant ABS case and includes an integrated T-post mount for installation. It is equipped with a large off/on power button that pulses red to indicate operation, as well as large terminals for secure fence and ground connections. Fence and ground connection leads are included. Powerfields provides a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, which covers protection from remote, indirect lightning strikes.
