The Powerfields PF-AD-100C is a low impedance electric fence energizer designed for powering multi-strand electric fences. It offers versatile power input options, operating from either a 12-volt DC battery or a standard 110-volt AC power source, typically a 15-amp circuit. This energizer delivers 1.5 stored joules and 1.0 output joules, effectively powering up to 60 acres of fencing. It features an open line voltage of 9,700 volts and 3,900 volts at 500 ohms. The unit is housed in a tough, impact-resistant ABS case with easy-grip terminal knobs and includes a large, easy-to-see pulsing power indicator. It comes with an AC adapter and battery connector leads. The Powerfields PF-AD-100C is suitable for transitioning between temporary, portable, and permanent fence installations. A 3-year manufacturer's warranty covers the unit, including protection from remote, indirect lightning strikes.
