Product Overview
The Powers Process Controls HydroGuard HT115 is a high-temperature shut-off device designed to provide thermostatic protection for showers. Constructed from brass with a chrome finish, this valve instantly reduces water flow to less than 0.25 GPM (from a normal flow of up to 4.0 GPM at 60 PSI) if the water temperature reaches 115°F ±3°F (46°C ±1.6°C). Once the temperature drops below this threshold, the device automatically resets, resuming full flow within seconds. It features 1/2 inch FIP (Female Iron Pipe) inlet and 1/2 inch MIP (Male Iron Pipe) outlet connections, making it compatible with two-handle, single-handle, pressure balance, and temperature control shower valves in new or existing installations. The unit has an overall length of 1-3/4 inches, height of 1 inch, and width of 1 inch. It is suitable for applications in healthcare, hospitality, and residential settings and is certified to ASSE 1062, CSA, FM Approved, and NSF stan
