CRL PP303HL POWR 303HL Series Primerless-to-Glass High Modulus/Low-Conductive Automotive Urethane

CRL POWR 303HL Series Primerless-to-Glass High Modulus/Low-Conductive Urethane is a high quality, high viscosity, non-conductive, and primerless-to-glass polyurethane adhesive that passes or exceeds the requirements of U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 212. With over 1,000 psi of tensile strength and 550 psi lap shear at ultimate cure, PP303HL is one of the safest and strongest urethanes offered for the aftermarket. Virtually all European vehicles have specifications for High Modulus urethane to be used when replacement glass is required. Additionally, aluminum bodied vehicles require low conductive urethane to prevent electrical current from passing from the glass to the body and creating corrosion.
High Modulus is completely different from High Viscosity because the High Modulus specification is the physical property of the material after it has cured (stiff) where the High Viscosity specification is the physical property of the material in the liquid state (thick). In the circumstance where this material is required for rigidity, it is very important, as the driving characteristics of the vehicle could be altered by not using a High Modulus urethane.
PP303HL has a new Aggressive Adhesion Formula and has proven itself to aggressively bond to all automotive glass surfaces and frits without needing a glass primer. Long term exposure testing confirms that the new formula stands up to the harshest environmental conditions.
Packaged with 15 V-Notch nozzles (Cat. No. 690001) and four cone-shaped nozzles (Cat. No. UN0Z) per case.
We are also introducing additional support products for this new series of automotive Urethanes, including CRL POWR 300 Series Urethane EPDM/PVC Primer/UV Blocker PP3UV for bonding to encapsulated parts and moldings or adding a black-out band to glass without a frit to protect the bond line from ultraviolet light. CRL POWR 300 Series Urethane Pinchweld Primer PP3MP is for application prior to bonding to bare metal scratches and rust repaired or repainted pinchwelds. You should always use PWR22 CRL Automotive Glass Cleaner to clean the glass and the bonding area of the glass to remove any contamination. PP303HL is packed 24-10.1 fluid ounce (300 m) cartridges to a case. Full pallets contain 1440 total cartridges.
Product Warning:
POWR 300 Series Urethane should not be used with primers from other urethane systems. Do not store at temperatures in excess of 75°F (24°C). If product is mechanically warmed in excess 95°F (35°C) for a cold weather installation, then it must be used the same day. 9 Month Shelf Life. Aluminum cartridges have screw-on nozzles.
