Product Overview
PPG Proluxe Log & Siding Wood Finish, MPN SIK42009/05, is an exterior translucent satin wood stain finish formulated with an alkyd high-solids system for vertical wood surfaces. This two-coat finish is suitable for logs, siding, trim, garage doors, fir, cedar, pine, spruce, and redwood. It features high-transparency transoxide pigments and powerful UV absorbers to enhance color depth, clarity, and protect the wood substrate. The flexible resin technology resists cracking and peeling, while providing water repellency and a mildew-resistant finish. Coverage ranges from 300-400 sq ft/gallon on rough surfaces to 400-500 sq ft/gallon on smooth surfaces. It is dry to the touch in 6-12 hours, with recoat possible after 24 hours. Apply between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C). VOC content is less than 350 g/L. Clean up with mineral spir
