Product Overview
The ProFlex PERSR-CTS12P PERSR-Series anodeless riser facilitates the transition from underground polyethylene (PE) gas piping to above-ground steel piping, typically connecting to gas meters or regulators. Constructed with high-strength steel and polyethylene, the riser features a 1/2-inch Copper Tube Size (CTS) connection for the PE pipe and a 3/4-inch Male Pipe Thread (MPT), which typically refers to National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads, for the steel connection. The steel components are protected with an epoxy coating, eliminating the need for cathodic protection. Designed for natural gas and LP (propane) applications, it meets or exceeds standards such as ASTM D2513 Category 1 and ASTM F1973, as well as compliance with NFPA 54/ANSI Z223.1 and DOT 49 CFR Part 192. This factory-assembled unit has a maximum operating pressure of 80 PSIG and requires installation by a qualified professional.
