Product Overview
The PC-Woody two-part epoxy wood repair paste from PC Products (model 643334), also known as Protective Coating Co., is a structural wood filler designed for permanent repairs to damaged or missing wood. This solvent-free, non-shrinking, and crack-resistant paste cures to a natural wood color (pine or tan) and contains real wood, allowing it to be sanded, drilled, nailed, sawn, painted, or stained (solid stains recommended). Suitable for interior and exterior applications, it resists weather elements, mildew, dry rot, UV light, fresh and salt water, and chemicals in pressure-treated wood. The 48 oz kit features an easy 1:1 volumetric mix ratio, a 30-40 minute working time at 70°F, and achieves a tack-free cure in 90 minutes with full service cure in 24 hours. It maintains a peanut-butter-like consistency for vertical and overhead applications, with an application temperature range of 35-115°F and a service temperature range of -20°F to 200°F. Cured material is stronger than most wood, offering 850 PSI ten shear strength, 2,340 PSI compressive yield, and 1,280 PSI flexural strength, and is non-conductive.
