Designed for LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) Assembly
PWR DRIVE LVL is designed specifically for LVL, commonly used in new building structures, and will yield maximum assembly strength with this material. LVL has a different thickness than regular dimensional lumber: 1-3/4 in thickness instead of the usual 1-1/2 in.
You can cover all possible assembly combinations in a structure with only four different lengths of the PWR DRIVE LVL: 2, 3, or even 4 member assemblies. That means fewer screws are necessary to assemble anything you may encounter on the jobsite.
Each PWER DRIVE LVL pack has a handy reference guide for proper LVL screw selection according to the assembly combination in question. Note that the required T-40 tip is included in every pack except bulk packs.
