Pyrock Chemical R-CH-065-EUP-FT-P100 Aqua-Org Plus is a granular calcium hypochlorite pool shock containing 65% available chlorine. Packaged in a 100 lb drum, this product is designed for super chlorination of swimming pools, spas, and hot tubs. It rapidly increases free chlorine levels, sanitizes water by killing bacteria and algae, oxidizes organic contaminants, and breaks down chloramines. As an unstabilized chlorine source, it does not add cyanuric acid to the water. This fast-acting, quick-dissolving formula has an alkaline pH of 11-12, temporarily increasing pool pH and adding calcium hardness to the water. It is suitable for periodic shock treatments to address algae outbreaks, cloudy water, or to boost overall water sanitation.
