Product Overview
The CRL Pyrosil Pretreatment for UV Bonding uses a microscopic, high-strength silicon dioxide layer on glass, metal, ceramic or plastic substrates to help significantly improve the bond strength. Combined with the acrylic primer that is included in the kit, the maximum adhesion for all UV bonding projects is achieved. CRL Pyrosil pretreatment contains a combustible gas, mixed within an organic silicon compound. During the actual process, the transport gas is burnt off, and what remains on the surfaces is a high-level and high-strength silicate lattice structure. The CRL Pyrosil pretreatment of UV bonding is environmentally friendly, since no toxic by-products are produced during the process.
KIT CONTAINS: Gas burner, stand, 2 50ml gas refill cans and 2 50ml bottles of primer in a plastic case. Important Notes: Normal precautions should be considered for working with an open flame.
