To drain the Seasons SM12R1 portable AC, remove the drain plug at the back, attach a drain hose, and direct it to a drain location lower than the unit. When the water tray is full, the unit shows "P1" and stops cooling but the fan runs. Drain the water, reinstall the plug firmly, and restart the unit.
