I have a SL1600 controller (an older one) and this year it doesn't stop at the completion of a cycle. it starts over again. is there anything I can do to stop this problem or do I need a new controller?

I’m not certain, but most likely your SL1600 controller is looping because the “Repeat Program” or “Stacked Start Times” setting is active. When that’s enabled, the controller will restart after finishing a cycle instead of stopping.
