The Pic Mosquito and Flying Insect Zapper is a handheld electric swatter, not an ultrasonic or high-frequency device. It operates solely by delivering a small electrical charge to insects upon physical contact. It does not produce high-frequency sounds to repel or scatter insects. Any movement of the flies you observe is likely a reaction to your physical motion, rather than a response to the zapper itself.
