The Ideal Security SK8730W is generally designed for an opening range of approximately 90° to 110°. The included wind chain (SK14) is specifically meant to protect the closer by limiting the opening angle. Opening to 135° would likely exceed the safe operating limit of this pneumatic closer and risk damage to the unit.
