The Scrub-Pro is designed so small debris passes through the drain slot, but golf balls should stay in the drum. If balls are overflowing into the water reservoir, the drum/liner or guide may be damaged or misaligned. I’d check the plastic liner/guide and drainage slot for damage or obstruction.
