The metal fitting at the gear case end of the clear feed tube screws into gear cases with 3/8" 16 gear lube drain/fill hole. The adapter fits all Mercury, Mariner or Force outboards and all MerCruiser stern drives. The metric adapter 883704Q03 is required for Mercury or Mariner outboards produced in Japan.
