Product Overview
The Red Head Hollow Core Drop In Anchor Setting Tool is a necessary accessory for properly setting drop-in anchors. The anchor is properly expanded when the shoulder of the setting tool is flush with the top of anchor. Typical applications for a drop-in anchor are overhead applications, transformers and meters, ceiling fans, and electrical light fixtures. To set a Red Head Drop-In anchor below the surface, drill a hole deeper than the anchor length, thread the bolt through the anchor, then hammer the anchor into the hole until the bolt head is at the desired depth. Remove the bolt and set the anchor with this setting tool.
