Product Overview
This electrical wire, Regency Wire & Cable model GW-500, features an 8 AWG solid bare copper conductor with green polyvinylchloride (PVC) insulation. It is UL Listed and rated for 600 volts with a conductor temperature up to 60°C. The solid bare copper construction meets ASTM Specifications B-3, B-8, and B-787. Green-jacketed wire is commonly used as an Equipment Grounding Conductor (EGC) in various electrical installations. This type of wire is also suitable for direct burial power and control applications, such as those found in irrigation systems
