Resinoid Resinoid bonds are strong and flexible and can be used for heavy-duty stock removal and grinding. Resin wheels can also be reinforced with fiberglass for cutoff wheels. Resin bonds are strong enough for superabrasive wheels, and can be lower cost than metal bonding. Polymide resin bonds can be used for higher temperature work than other resins. Epoxy resin bonds are used for stock removal on unhardened steels.
