RPM Products OM5/24 Sand Cloth Mesh is a waterproof abrasive material designed for surface preparation. It is constructed with 180 grit aluminum oxide abrasive bonded to a flexible nylon fabric, featuring an open mesh design that resists clogging and allows for wet or dry use. This durable and reusable mesh is specifically engineered for cleaning, polishing, and deburring non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, and aluminum fittings, as well as plastic piping. It effectively removes rust, paint, dirt, and scale, preparing surfaces for soldering, brazing, and other mechanical assemblies. Measuring 1-1/2 inches wide by 5 yards long, its flexible nature enables it to conform to curved and irregular surfaces.
