SATA Air Tester. The quality of compressed air plays a decisive role in achieving high quality finishes. Oil, condensation and particles are the most common causes leading to coating flaws. The SATA Air Tester is a specially treated mirror that is be a great tool for checking airlines in the shop. The mirror has a metallic surface treatment on the back side that allows the heat to dissipate. When that happens, it leaves behind the traces of moisture and oily residue, which are contaminants. This simple tester will give the painter permanent security that they know they are working with clean compressed air. Operating instructions are printed on the inside of the holder case.
