The Satin Aluminum Cross Bar Panic Exit Device is a rim-style exit device designed for use with aluminum or hollow metal doors. This device is specifically configured for Right hand reverse bevel applications. The unit features a 42" cross bar that can be field cut to fit specific door size requirements. It is suitable for commercial and residential door hardware applications where security and life safety are required. The device is handed and non-reversible, requiring careful selection based on the door swing. Handing is determined from the outside or lock side of the door; if the hinge is on the Right and the door swings out towards you, the device must be a Right hand reverse bevel. It includes a standard surface mounted roller type rim strike. Keyed entry is possible with the addition of an optional rim cylinder, which does not require a mounting pad. This device is compatible with narrow, medium, and wide stile aluminum doors or hollow metal doors. The finish is Satin Aluminum.
