CRL Norcon Bullet Resistant Two-Way Electronic Communicators are self-contained, easily installed devices that allow clear, intelligible two-way conversation in locations where security must be maintained with ballistic protection. The new TTU7BX1 combination counter top/thru-glass model is the solution when the clerk needs to stay seated too far away from the glass barrier to reach a thru-glass microphone, and a thru-glass unit is preferred for the customer side. In its Auto-Mute mode the communicator is automatically activated when the clerk speaks for hands-free operation. It has a removable gooseneck microphone, with talk and listen volumes adjustable by the clerk.
NOTE: The "X" Series Norcon Communicators all have a removable gooseneck microphone, and all include a receptacle for use with the optional TTU1HS Hands-Free Headset. All Norcon units are supplied complete with mounting hardware, instructions, and power supply. The TTU1X Extension Kit for glass up to 2-3/4" (70 mm) thick may be ordered separately.
Non-Bullet resistant models include bolts for glass up to 1/2" (12 mm) thick. Level 1 Bullet resistant models are pre-set for glazing up to 1-3/16" (30 mm)thick. Level 3 Bullet resistant models are pre-set for glazing up to 1-11/16" (43 mm) thick.
