This unique CRL Top Channel is designed to fit into the pocket created by the D1637M cleat, which is attached to the wall at the top portion of the mirror. When used with a bottom FHA J-Bar, the CRL Mirror Mount System affords the installer a neat, trim way to mount mirrors with a narrow 5/16" (7.9 mm) frame. The unique offset profile of the cleat in conjunction with the top cap and the J-Bar helps keep moisture from being trapped behind the mirror, while also concealing screws and support hardware.
Hint: Closed ends can be created by trimming back a portion of the channel, and bending back the front flaps to close off the ends.
NOTE: Not recommended for schools, hospitals, or institutions where mirror edges should be protected on all four sides.
