Product Overview
B250 SeriesGrade 2 Deadlatch

The B250 operates as a deadlatch for situations where the non-handled function of a deadbolt is desired but in a self-locking form. This makes it ideal for pool gates as a double cylinder and similar applications where relocking is essential to security. When used on solid doors as a single cylinder with thumbturn, the holdback function allows the latch to remain retracted so the lock can be used as a nightlatch.

  • B250 Series deadlatches are reversible.

  • 5-pin: 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" (35 mm to 44 mm) standard
Backset:
  • 2 3/8" (60 mm) standard
Front:
  • Brass, bronze or stainless steel. 1 1/8" x 2 1/4"
    (29 mm x 57 mm) square corner, beveled
Dead bolt:
  • 1" (25 mm) throw with saw-resistant hardened steel insert
Latch bolt:
  • Brass, 9/16" (14 mm) throw, deadlocking on keyed and exterior functions
