The Schumacher DSR ProSeries Battery-less Ultracapacitor Jump Starter (DSR108) is a well-designed, professional-grade jump starter that features the latest in ultracap technology for fully portable jump starting. The DSR108's ultracaps deliver high power density, quick charging, added cranking power, and superior reliability. Plus, there's no internal battery to fail. Ultracaps have a significantly longer lifespan than AGM and lithium batteries, giving you 10 years/10,000 cycles of jump starting you can count on. In addition, unlike lithium batteries, ultracaps can be fully discharged without damage. They can also be fully recharged from even weak or partially discharged batteries in only 100 seconds, while a lithium battery can take hours to recharge. This means that you can charge the DSR108's ultracaps from the battery that you plan to jump start in under two minutes. Ultracaps also deliver superior performance in extreme conditions, outperforming lithium and AGM jump starters and offering reliable starting at temperatures as low as -40°F or as high as 150°F. In addition, a built-in voltmeter allows you to easily see the current charge of your battery and troubleshoot your battery's health.
