3M™ Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesive DP405 is a black, toughened, two-part epoxy structural adhesive that provides good strength along with high impact and fatigue-resistance to meet demanding bonding challenges. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesive DP405 can replace mechanical fasteners, screws, rivets and spot welds in many applications. This product is part of a B/A system. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesive DP405 maintains bond strength at high and low temperatures and can withstand paint bake operations up to 400 deg F for 60 min. It works well on a variety of substrates such as metals, ceramics, wood, glass and many composites and is an excellent indoor bonding agent for joining, gluing, potting, panel bonding and structural bonding. 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ epoxy adhesive DP405 dispenses as a medium viscosity adhesive for easy, controlled application. The adhesive reaches handling strength in approximately 15 min and is fully cured in 24 hr (at 72 deg F) The mix ratio is 2:1 and provides a 5 min work life, providing limited time to adjust for desired fit prior to curing. This adhesive is available in a variety of package sizes and can be dispensed in several ways to meet the demands of the user and the job.

40 to 60% Modified Epoxy Resin, 10 to 30% 4,7,10-Trioxatridecane-1,13-Diamine, 5 to 20% 4,7,10-Trioxatridecane-1,13-Diamine, 5 to 20% Amine Curing Agent, 1 to 10% Nepheline Syenite, 1 to 10% Tris 2,4,6-Dimethylaminomonomethyl)Phenol, 0.5 to 5% Amorphous Silica, 0.5 to 5% Calcium Salt, 0.1 to 5% Salicylic Acid (Part A)/40 to 70% Epoxy Resin, 10 to 30% Polyester Resin, 5 to 25% Butadiene Acrylic Copolymer, 1 to 10% Nepheline Syenite, 0.1 to 1% 3-(Trimethoxysilyl)Propyl Glycidyl Ether (Part B)
